Payment of fees
Users must sign a rental agreement and submit with a check for a $200 cleaning/security fee before reservations are accepted. For events held between October 15 and April 15 a $50/day surcharge will be assessed for heating. The total fee for use must be paid no later than two weeks prior to event. If the event is cancelled or janitorial service or repairs are required after the event, charges will be subtracted from the cleaning/security fee and the remainder, if any, will then be returned.

Insurance
Users are responsible for their own liability insurance. Caterers must show proof of insurance and name the Hulls Cove Neighborhood Association as an additional insured on all certificates. The Hulls Cove Neighborhood Association is not responsible for any property in the facility belonging to the user

Restrictions
The Schoolhouse is located in a residential neighborhood. Users are expected to respect the privacy of the neighbors and no event shall allow entertainment to continue past 11:00PM. There will be no overnight use of the facility. Children must be supervised at all times. There is no play area outdoors that belongs to the Neighborhood Association – all surrounding property is privately owned. Fire code allows a maximum of 150 persons in the facility at any one time. Smoking is prohibited in and around the facility. Alcohol may be served at events, but not sold (i.e. “open bar”) without a license and appropriate insurance.
